Dasukigate: Court Fixes Feb 8 For Ruling On Dasuki’s Case

Justice Hussein Baba-Yusuf of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja yesterday fixed February 8, 2016 to rule on whether to discharge former national security adviser, (NSA) Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.) from the criminal charges brought against him by the Nigerian Federal Government.

The court fixed the date after counsels to both Dasuki, and the federal government had addressed the court on a motion praying for the release of Dasuki.

Armsgate: Court Fixes Feb 9 For Metuh’s Trial

Justice Abang Okon of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned the trial of the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh till Feb 9 for continuation of trial.

Abang’s ruling followed an application by the defence counsel, Onyechi Ipeazu, SAN, who prayed the court to adjourned the trial because he was not in the best state of health. This was, however, not opposed by the prosecution.
